Committee Member Open Call 2024

Market Gallery is looking for an Artist Programmer to join our committee in October 2024!

The term on the Committee is a two-year position that offers an opportunity to develop research interests and programme collaboratively in a non-hierarchical environment. Committee members are responsible for all aspects of the daily running of the organisation alongside the Programme Administrator, and lead on the decision making about the future of the gallery, gaining experience across programming and research, archiving, event organisation and delivery, marketing and outreach, artist liaison and reporting. The remuneration for the role is a monthly £472 stipend, and there is a small budget allocated to each committee member to support their professional development and/or research. There will also be a funded research trip during your committeeship.
